Hi Folks! We are lucky to live in an area that offers an abundance of local farms, farm markets and alternative food sources.
I thought that it would be beneficial for busy families and local food purveyors alike to create a comprehensive list of the farmers, farm markets, homesteaders, and locally manufactured products in our area.
This is most definitely not a complete list. I have published this preliminary list here with the hope that this becomes a collaborative project that benefits our community.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
· Please email me at hankandlulacreations@gmail.com or message me on Instagram if you have a food purveyor you would like added, additions/changes to the existing list, or if you simply want to be taken off of the list.
· Tech Support: There have got to be better ways to display this information! If you have any advice or would like to collaborate on creating a more comprehensive listing, please reach out.
· Do you know if there is a list like this that already exists? If so, please let me know so that we can focus our resources
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
· This list was an action item born from the thought “what good have I done for the world today?” It is meant to be inclusive, forward thinking and community minded. It certainly isn’t perfect, but it’s a starting point. Please have patience with me as it grows.
· This is simply a listing. Please contact each business for their hours of operation, product availability etc.
